HAND APPLIQUÉ CLUB The shop will be continuing with our Hand Appliqué Club. Lois Veitch is the coordinator. If you are interested, please call the shop and let us know. There will be a one-time fee of $15.00 for new members. The new year begins in September. EMBROIDERY ENTHUSIAST Do you have embroidery machine and 4D software and would like to learn more?
Pam Plasch is here to teach all the wonderful techniques that can be accomplished with our 4D embroidery programs. Scrap Therapy
I cannot buy any more fabric until I use up what I have! I don’t even know what fabric I have at home. I’ll organize that before I take another class.

Scrap therapy addresses the stash problem by teaching quilters how to turn their mounds of beautiful fabric into usable sizes….which are then ready to create quilts and other projects with custom designed Scrap Therapy patterns October 6th & 20th Monday 1:30–4:00 or 6:30-9:00 November 3rd & 17th Monday 1:30-4:00 or 6:30 – 9:00

We are on the road again to Hutchinson where we will visit with Lynette Jensen of Thimbleberries and The Cotton Shop. We stop for lunch and visit two other shops on the way home (yet to be determined). It’s always a fun trip and fills up fast, so sign up early. The bus leaves the front of the shop at 7:00 and you are on your own for food and beverages. We might even get a look at the new club quilts for 2009Wednesday November 5th Cost: $30.00
1st SATURDAY BLOCK OF THE MONTH Starting October 4th
Our 1st Saturday Block of the Month starting in October will be the “Quilters Garden” from the book, “Thimbleberries Big Book of Quilt Blocks” Each month you will receive the colored fabrics necessary to complete each monthly block. If you finish the quilt as suggested in the book the quilt will measure 81 X 98. The first month you will receive the background fabric for all the blocks, the book if you need it, the colored fabric for the first block, and the rules for the Block of the Month. Cost for this year will be $15.00 if you already have the book. If you need to purchase the book the cost is $37.50. Fabric for finishing the quilt will not be included.
A new year of THIMBLEBERRIES starts in January. Come and join us for an open house to see what all the excitement is about. Monday November 10th 3:30-5:00 or 6:30-8:30 or Tuesday November 11th 9:30-11:00
UFO RETREAT Join Sharon for a fun filled 3 days at the AmericInn Lodge & Suites in North Branch. Nov 14th 15th 16th Check-in begins the first day at 1:00 and check-out is 12:00 the last day. Three meals plus continental breakfast will be served. Dinner the first evening, lunch and dinner the second day is included. Please call the shop if interested. COST: $150.00 (no discounts)

101: BEGINNING ROTARY CUTTING & MACHINE PIECING
Learn all the basic techniques you will need to know to make a quilt. QUILTING 202 INTERMEDIATE

COLLAGE BOOK JACKET #1 Make a reusable cover for a book, album, sketchbook or journal. Use assorted scraps of fabric, lace, ribbon and yarn to create your own artistic design, then use free- motion quilting to secure it all in place. Thursday October 2nd 6:30 – 9:00 Instructor: Anne G

NEW CRAZY CURVES Vicky has come up with another new class that is sure to challenge you. If you have shied away from curves then give this class a try.
